The basic prices for renting a sailboat are calculated by the week. If you rent for less than a week, a coefficient is applied: 60% of the weekly price for two days, 70% for three days, 80% for four days, 90% for five days and 95% for six days. It's always better to rent by the week.
Since 2025, we've sought to clarify our rates to offer a better customer experience. Our bookings include the use of the spinnaker, the dinghy engine (when available on the boat), the berth in Saint-Quay for the duration of your charter, the night on board the day before your departure andcomprehensive insurance (with a deductible). You will be responsible for filling up with diesel on your return. If you wish, you can add the following options: sheets on board, cleaning, navigation tablet (for boats not equipped)...
Yes, we apply discounts according to the length of your rental. Count on 10% discount from 13 days, 15% from 20 days and for rentals of 4 weeks or more: contact us directly. Discounts are always applied to the price of your rental and never include options such as consumables, cleaning, sheets on board...
This package covers your consumption of gas, batteries, fuel for the tender engine and, more generally, consumables related to your use.
To be able to resell an insurance product, French law requires the reseller to have an Orias number. Loc Voile Armor doesn't currently have one, but may do so next season. You can get in touch with our partners to take out a bond redemption directly with them.
When you arrive, either the day before or the day of your charter, you'll meet us at the Loc Voile Armor office. Together, we'll finalize the administrative paperwork (nautical CV, crew list, insurance information, deposit), then open the gate to the parking lot. You'll then go directly to the rental pontoon to take possession of your yacht. First of all, you'll carefully check that all the equipment is in good working order. Then, our team will be on hand to make sure you have all the equipment you need, and to help you get to grips with the boat (electrical circuit, on-board electronics, water system operation, engine starting and special features of the yacht...).
All your personal belongings. We provide a small cleaning kit: mop, sponge, microfiber cloth. But don't forget to bring garbage bags, tea towels, shopping bags and condiments, as well as your sleeping bags, sheets and pillows if you don't take the bed linen option.
We offer this service with the possibility of spending the night on board the day before and, even when this is possible, doing the handovers on the Friday evening, so that you can maximize your time on the water. This allows us to spread the handovers over two days, and to spend more time with you. To be able to offer the same level of service to future renters, the boat must be back at the pontoon by 2 p.m., without having forgotten to clean the toilets, wash, dry, put away the dishes, and empty your garbage cans, even when you have taken the cleaning option, or else the yacht must be freed and clean, as you found it, by 4 p.m.
The minimum charter period is two days, except during July and August, when charters are by the week, except for last-minute bookings. In the off-season, it is possible to rent a sailboat mid-week.
We take deposits by bank imprint, so you're ready when you arrive. Here are the 2 steps to follow beforehand:
Make sure you have the sum required to pay the deposit (between €3,000 and €5,500 depending on your boat) available in your bank account or have the associated overdraft authorization.
Request an increase in your bank limit so that you can validate the transaction, either directly with your banker or via your bank's application.
The deposit is not debited from your account, except in the event of a problem with the boat.
The parking lot is free and enclosed, and you can park your car directly at the top of the rental pontoon. When you arrive, our staff will open the security gate, allowing you access to the parking area along the pontoons. You can park as many vehicles as you have crew members, free of charge. Once you've arrived on your yacht, you'll be given a parking badge so you can come and go as you please.
The easiest way is to drive to the Super U in Binic-Étables-sur-mer, which can deliver directly to the top of the pontoon for €10. If you have a car, the Carrefour Market in Étables-sur-mer is less than 2 km away, and the Super U in Binic is 6 km. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
For weekly rentals or more, the boat must be returned with a full tank of fuel and in accordance with the return procedure established at the time of your departure, at 2 p.m. on the last day of your rental, or at 4 p.m. if you do the cleaning yourself. For weekend rentals, especially those ending on a Sunday, the boat will be available to you until 6 p.m., after cleaning.
Together, we'll check the boat's general condition. In the hours or days following your departure, a diver will check the condition of the hull, keel and rudder.
The deposit will be returned to you by post within 30 days if no problems are found.
